Re: Don't have tpl_product_info_default.php

Nope this is what it says also I just went to Image handler 3 still can't get pics to show up on my site.

Copy the 3 folders(admin, images and includes) to root folder of your installation.
3, Then copy the below code to your tpl_product_info_default.php file which is located in includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/templates/ (YOUR_TEMPLATE is your template name) or includes/templates/template_default/templates/ to the location you want the Additional Images to display.

Re: Don't have tpl_product_info_default.php

I think that's a typo. There's no tpl_product_info_default.php in a stock Zencart installation.

Re: Don't have tpl_product_info_default.php

It may have been but all is good now I have finally figured out how to upload pictures with out it and works great for all those having issues what you have to do is this(it is just an example)
LETS SAY You have A front and back you want too show....for a product

first both names have to be the same like this

test_1.jpeg..........back side of product
test.jpeg.............front of product

now that they are named the same....

lets say your adding a new product and fill in all the info price and then where you browse for a picture.
make sure you upload the (name_1.jpeg) etc.. first make sure both

Delete Image? NOTE: Removes Image from Product, Image is NOT removed from server: No

Overwrite Existing Image on Server? No

then click preview
then click back
select the name of picture test.jpeg then preview

and final click update
and you are done

Re: Don't have tpl_product_info_default.php

That's an effective though potentially tedious way of doing it all in admin. Just be sure that the base image (test.jpg) is entered after all the others. If you have a lot of additional images, it will be quicker to just load the main image this way and upload the rest with your FTP program.

We sometimes use this technique - and for our clients who do not understand FTP, it is the procedure we advise them to use.

But as Glenn says, it is very tedious - particularly if there are a lot of products with additional images.

I have a developer looking at creating a module to do "mass upload product images via Admin"...

If we get it done, I'll make it freely available to ZC users...

Re: Don't have tpl_product_info_default.php

Yes i agree, If you have more than 2 pictures might be better. As for me i just have a front and back.

witch brings me to other questions, I have noticed on my apple the pictures at https://www.patchesrus.net look great, But in Internet explorer 7 they are kinda distorted etc.. but when someone pulls up the large image it looks okay. Could this be because i have made the pictures smaller after i scan, crop and re size them to a smaller file size.
