Moving a store to the root directory from a sub-folder

Version 1.3.9h

I'm doing a website for a Costume Store. For the moment I created a basic index.htm page so they didnt lose web presence with Halloween coming soon.

I installed ZenCart in a sub-folder named 'store'.

I need to know if and how I can migrate this installation to the root folder once the store is functional and complete. :lamo:

Has anybody done this before?

Yes you can do it and no its not difficult, you just need to remember to copy all files and folders out of your subdirectory, into the root directory

and update the directories in your configure files

There is even an article on it

Re: Moving a store to the root directory from a sub-folder

I have a question along these same lines...
I want to move my store to a new dot com.
What's the easiest way to do this?
