Adding different quantities for different colours of a product

I have some items on my site that come in different colours and I have different amounts of each colour eg butterfly embellishments, pink 3,
silver 2, black 3 is it possible to show these quantities for each colour rather than the quantity as a whole for the item without adding each item colour as a separate item:unsure:

There are installation instructions included with the mod. swguy always does a great job, so I'm sure they're complete.

I have just installed Zen Cart - v1.5.0 - and have been trying to set up products which I think are all OK. I downloaded the mod (stock_by_attributes_1.4.14), read the help text and found a small problem.

Prepare the package for upload to your server by renaming the following folders to match your template name: includes/modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE and includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE.

I am using a secondary template (dezina_advent138).

I found includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE and renamed the folder "includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE" to "includes/templates/dezina_advent138".

However, there is no folder called "includes/modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE". Just one folder called includes/modules/pages.

I thought maybe there had been an update to the mod and the help text was not changed, so I tried to install it and just got a black home page. If anyone has installed can they explain it for me?

Should I consider this instead?

PS:
This is my first time with Zen Cart so I guess I will be posting more questions later.

The 'pages' files aren't overridable, so that core file will be overwritten. That's OK.

What about the folder "includes/modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE" which I did not see? Am I missing something, or looking in the wrong place?

I'd guess that is an error in the instructions left over from an earlier version.

I guess do a full backup and give it a go. Maybe tomorrow though, my eyes are square.

Well, I set it up as per instructions and got a blank home page. I am now getting the server team to restore a full back up. What a bummer! :censored::censored:

Anyway, I am not sure if I should be asking help here about this add-on or not, but if anyone has set it up can they talk me through it please?
