IE 9 problems with mouse over

I am using v1.3.9f of Zencart. We have noticed a serious problem when using I.E. 8 or 9. When you mouse over the page the entire content below the header shifts to the right. It displays correctly when the page loads and if you use the scroll bar but as soon as you mouse over the content it shifts. Here is the link to the site: http://www.levintique.com

A word to the wise before you report something as bug within the script, you should be familiar with the script and with finding / fixing coding errors. You have coding errors which need to be fixed. Have you ever used a Validator like http://validator.w3.org/ ??

Ok, I see the errors. Let me work on that and I will let you know what happens.

I can't seem to find the table code errors or the stray div. I found the file tpl_main_page.php that it seems to be referring to. The rest of the html coding errors have been corrected including a stray byte order mark.

I would think that script would convert ampersands and other html special characters but apparently not.

It does work great in Google chrome and Firefox with no problems.

Just wanted to add this...
I see several uses of Z-index in the stylesheet.css file, could this be causing the problem?

Looks like you have an extra 'div' in your 'tpl_main_page.php'

It might happen though, by removing the extra 'div' will fix the current problem and create a new one on another page. That would be because of incorrect code somewhere else and would have to look within you custom template files and/or 'define_main_page.php' file.

I have checked all of the tpl and custom files and they check out correctly, individually but I see the div and td error when running the index page thru w3c validator? I don't know where else to check.
