Google Checkout - can't be edited in Admin area

Hi,

I installed the Google Checkout module but can't set up it by using edit button. Editing area doesn’t show up when I click on the edit button (picture 2). Only for this payment module. I've never experienced similar difficulties.

You can see how my Admin looks like on the pics in the attachment.

Has anyone experienced with Google checkout and how to set up this module in Admin?

Many thanks.

Re: Google Checkout - can't be edited in Admin area

Hi! I installed google checkout on to a clients site 1.3.9 but I cant seem to edit the payment module in admin. the right side bar just dissapears when I try to edit it. :shocking: Very strange, I have installed this mod many times in the past and never encountered this. Is anyone else having this same issue with 1.3.9?

When the right sidebar disappears, it's because you've encountered a PHP error and the "rest of the page" doesn't get drawn ... because of the fatal error.
So, see this article to help you identify the PHP error you've got: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=82

Re: Google Checkout - can't be edited in Admin area

Hello! I had the same problem. Then I was thinking about the files for the admin section. I had a directory named "admin" but I also renamed admin "something" for security reasons. Well, I took the files that were uploaded to "admin" and uploaded them to "something". Now everything works. I did check to make sure I did not overwrite files. I have a number of mods.

I would suggest backing up all files you will upload or edit. But that did correct the problem for me with not being able to edit google checkout through admin. I did edit it manually through phpAdmin directly but still got errors when trying to place an order on my site.

Anyway everything works like it should now. Sometimes it's a small thing. Check it out if you like http://www.iwantgreatbuys.com. I'm using Zen 1.3.9 version.

This was the post that put me in the right direction. when i checked my myDEBUG in the ZEN_CART_FOLDER/cache/myDEBUG i got this error:

" PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function zen_cfg_select_shipping() in /hermes/bosweb/web078/b780/ipw.iwantgre/public_html/tapper/modules.php(286) : eval()'d code on line 1"

so, i figured it was calling for a function from a missing file.
