How to remove search part in head menu and expand the head menu?

I don't want another search box on the top menu, so I disabled it, however, the background is still showing there, and with a different gray color. I want to remove that part, and meanwhile, I want to expand the menu's width to let it occupy across and in the middle of the screen.

How do I make it? Thank you very much.:(

The red and gray parts are all one image, so you would have to edit the image itself to make it look the way you want.

Your header image is screwed up because it's 950px wide, and the style sheet is set at 1000px. You need to change that here:

Because you're adding margin, then setting it back to 0. Remove the red part:
