Paypal - no currency conversion?

Paypal - no currency conversion?

I have a new zen cart 1.39h installation hoping to go live this week and am using the Paypal Website Standard module. The store currency is in Jamaican dollars (not supported by Paypal).

The Jamaican dollar is the default currency. The Paypal module is configured to use selected currency.

On testing checking out, the item and total amounts shown in Paypal are $0.

If I define the US currency within the zen cart and enter the conversion rates, the equivalent US$ amounts are transferred to Paypal.

Have I missed something in the configuration or is there no way to get Paypal to handle the currency conversion?

You can consider this resolved. Apparently I need to send the payment over to Paypal in oen of the 21 supported currencies.
