Changing product info page

Hi, Everyone!
I don't know if this is the right forum or not but here goes...

I would like to know how to alter the product_info page so that it displays 9 items that are similar to the one being shown... kind of like the New Items or Featured Items that are shown on categories and the home page. Can this be done? If so please lead me to the right section.

Thanks for the reply.

What I would like to do is ....

If a customer clicks on product:

main_page=product_info&products_id=1162

Which is for "Super widget"

Under the product would be in a format like New Items for September... or Featured Items...

but actually like an advanced search and similar items shown...

example would be "Super non Widget" and so on.

I am just wondering if it would be feasible to do?

I installed the cross sale add on. How can I have it in row format and not column format?

I would also like to add some descriptions as well?

Sorry for the spam.

I got the short descriptions to work on the items, but I would rather have them in row form and not column. I will look into this more and see what i can do.

I can't see how I can change it from table form to <ul><li>
form. Will update when I see how to change it.

You would most likely need to rewrite the PHP file that builds the output to create the desired HTML structure.

It shouldn't require touching any core or stock Zen Cart files, just files in the cross-sell mod.

Hi,
I found what I needed in the template I added on. It works great now. I didn't have to alter the core so upgrading and not destroying my work won't be a problem. Just in case the template doesn't work with zen 1.5+ I created a text file with all the adjustments I made so that I can alter a new template.
