No problem, didnt know it was needed! :)

you can remove, if you add this line i stylesheet.php :
.category-top, .category-links {
background-image: url("../images/point.gif");
background-position: left center;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
visibility: hidden;
but you will need to find a way to get you customer from you front page to the page were the category side box is.

Is there anyway of removing just from the main pages and leave it on the home page?
New Zenner
i think that calls for a lot of coding, but i think there is and esay way around.
create at Ez-page and name it "Go shopping" (just a suggestion)
set the settings like this:
Open New Window:no
Header:yes
Sidebox:no
Footer:no
Chapter: no
then set its Internal Link URL to :index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2
save it. that might do the tick, try it an let us see what it looks like

I just came op with another solution. Make the main picture a link to index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2
that might seems more i treed with the design??

Hi,
Correct me if I'm wrong Marten but the code suggested will also hide the following from the categories sidebox: Clothes-> (leaving the count of 1), Accessories->, Footwear->, New Products and All Products.
I suggest the following in the stylesheet.css:
#navCatTabs {
visibility: hidden;
}
To reverse the effect in the Home page only as requested, the following code in a new css file named index_home.css will do the trick (the index_home.css is executed only when the home page is loaded).
#navCatTabs {
visibility: visible;
}
I hope this helps.

Hey guys thanks very much for the tips and code! :) Ended up keeping it as it was anyway! waste of time lol
Wandering if you could help me with another project.
The attributes (checkboxes) what file controls the layout for this page? I want to drop the 'add to cart' button below the attributes, any ideas?
Many thanks in advance
Eddy
New Zenner
if it was me I would change this in the stylesheet_new.css
#cartAdd {
float: left; change this to right
that makes the "ad to cart" go to the right side an that if you ask me look nice

Great stuff, that worked a treat! :)
But if you take a look now http://testing.newdirectionmedia.co.uk/s4w/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=9
the attributes are a bit too far apart, how would i draw those closer together and make them level? Sorry to be a pain and i really appreciate the help guys! :)
Many thanks

change this in the stylesheet:
from:
.wrapperAttribsOptions {
margin-bottom: 0.3em;
margin-left: 0;
margin-right: 0;
margin-top: 0.3em;
to:
.wrapperAttribsOptions {
margin-bottom: -18px;
margin-left: 0;
margin-right: 0;
margin-top: 1px;

Hey guys got another issue i could do with some help with! :) If you dont mind..
http://bubleeboutique.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2
That page shows no products etc, is there a way of showing the products from all sub categories on that page? It looks a bit bare! :)
Many thanks in advance!
Oba-san
Did you try adding any Products within that Category of subcategories so that there is something to show? :unsure:

Perhaps use Configuration > Index Listing > Show Featured Products on Main Page - Category with SubCategories? (You need featured products in the category's subs for this to show anything.) There are several options like this, maybe just use
Show New Products on Main Page - Category with SubCategories.

By the way, the best answer to the OP's question> Hey guys, any ideas on how to remove the category links from the top of the page, i thought it was the Breadcrumb trail, but its not.is to turn off Categories-Tabs in Configuration > Layout Settings > Categories-Tabs Menu ON/OFF.
New Zenner
Hey guys thanks for the replies! :) much appreciated.
I have tried various settings with no luck, and the client does not want to list featured products, just all products in the categegories.
http://bubleeboutique.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=4
That has items in, but does not show them on the main category page :(
Thanks again
Eddy :D

Then use the "new products" centerbox for that page, as mentioned in post 16. You can set what is considered "new" to "everything", and you can change the text of the centerbox heading if you like.

I notice that you don't even have the subcategories showing on the top category page. What do you have for Configuration > Product Listing > Show SubCategories on Main Page while navigating?
