I would say that the code to show the subcategory listing has been deleted from your template (I have seen templates by this maker before where similar things were done: <!-- hsyong hide sidebars on home page -->), except that the page output cuts off where the subcategory listing should start:

<div id="categoryDescription" class="catDescContent">Jewellery</div> <!-- BOF: Display grid of available sub-categories, if any -->

This indicates a PHP error when processing the listing.
