Substitute for Paypal?

Hello,
I have a pennyauction that has paypal integrated into it. Iwas wondering if it is possible to replace the paypal with Zencart? If thsi is possible, and what the level of difficulty is to do this.
My issue is that the site auctions firearms, and paypal does not allow you to accept payment with their system for firearms.
