E-mail sender name

When the server sends out e-mails for new accounts, new orders, etc, the sender's name is whatever you have defined in Admin->Configuration->My Store->Store Name. **
How can I change the e-mail sender name without changing the store name? **

My business has a long legal name that is too long for some e-mail programs. It either gets truncated or the recipient has to widen the "From" column to see it all. I'd like to use a shorter version of my business name for the e-mail sender name...

Search for, and replace, every relevant instance of STORE_NAME with your shortened name. There are lots.
