Shipping setting for 2 zones

I am using v1.3.9h.
I would like to do this:

For Zone A (national): Free shipping above $50
For Zone B (International): Normal Shipping rate (per defined zone rates in SHIPPING MODULE)

For Zone A (national), successful get free when the total hit $50.
But, for Zone B (international), the shipping calculator unable to calculate the shipping cost and display 0 forever.

I tried looking around in all threads but can't solve.... Please help.

I have done these:

  1. Set up zones rates
  2. Go to Module> Order Total > Shipping
    Allow Free Shipping
    true

Free Shipping For Orders Over
RM80.00

Provide Free Shipping For Orders Made
national

  1. Go to MOdule > Shipping > FREE Shipping >
    Free Shipping Cost
    0.00

Shipping Zone
zone A

  1. Go to MOdule > Shipping > FREE Shipping Options >
    Total >=
    50

Shipping Zone
Zone A

Re: Shipping setting for 2 zones

Do a remove on the FREE SHIPPING! freeshipper unless you are using 0 weight for Free Shipping Orders or Always Free Shipping on some of your Products ...

You are showing that you are using both Free Shipping Options freeoptions for Total >=50.00 for Zone A and that you are using in the Modules ... Order Totals ... Shipping ot_shipping a Free Shipping over 80.00 and National ...

Do you want the Free Shipping to show in addition to the normal shipping when over 50.00 or to be the only thing that shows?

Why are you using 50.00 in the Free Shipping Options freeoptions and 80.00 in the Shipping ot_shipping ... :unsure:

Re: Shipping setting for 2 zones

Hi Ajeh,
Thanks for your reply.

I made the mistake in the setting:
I actually want ">=50", not ">=80".
I had corrected it to Free Shipping For Orders Over 50.

And I take your advice to remove the FREE SHIPPING, but it shows error:
"0 weight is configured for Free Shipping and Free Shipping Module is not enabled"

I am not sure whether it it caused by the Gift Certificates.... :(

appreciate your advise.

Re: Shipping setting for 2 zones

You could go into phpMyAdmin and browse your table:
products

and sort on the:
products_weight

field and see what is using 0 weight ...

Re: Shipping setting for 2 zones

That would most likely need the FREE SHIPPING! freeshipper shipping module if it was the only thing in the cart, if you have 0 weight meaning Free Shipping ...

Re: Shipping setting for 2 zones

Does the 0 weight on a Product mean Free Shipping for your Products?

If not, then turn that feature OFF in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... on the:

Order Free Shipping 0 Weight Status
If there is no weight to the order, does the order have Free Shipping?
0= no
1= yes

Note: When using Free Shipping, Enable the Free Shipping Module this will only show when shipping is free.
