Need to overcome transaction limits

I sell some items that are over PayPal's transaction limits.

Is there a way to disable the "add this to my cart" button on the pages for those products? I would like to put a "call to order" notice on the product page instead.

I have noticed that the PayPal button does not appear in the cart for those items also. Therefore, I believe I only need prevent them from being added to the cart.

On the product input page in admin there's a Call for Price radio button which will do that if selected.

I thought about using the Call for Price button but I would need to change it to Call to Order. Can you tell me where I can edit that?

I also realized that it is easy to go over PayPal's transaction limit when multiple items are ordered. I am experimenting with the money order module. I haven't had the results I am looking for yet.

Since transaction limits are going to be a problem for me I wonder if there is a way to include a warning to customers when they exceed the limit and maybe suggest an alternative. Any advise will be appreciated!

My transactions complete correctly when I use the "Check out with PayPal" button unless the cart totals over $10,000.

I installed the moneyorder and the COD modules. When I use the "go to checkout" button the transaction will not progress beyond the shipping method page. This happens no matter the amount of the cart.

The shipping is being calculated right with the PayPal button. Any idea why the "go to checkout" button is not working for me?
