Attributes for all products

Hello all,

I'm just the process of online shop and have currently been testing osCommerce and zencart (still can't decide which suits my needs more yet).

Basically I know i need to add attributes to 99% of the items for sale, on osCommerce i can only seem to be able to add them individually to every product, which is very time consuming and should I need to change 1 attribute across the board it will take forever to make the change to every single product.

I'm basically after something like this (found on the net) https://www.demongraphics.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=104&products_id=1483 all i basically need is 2 drop downs for size and colour followed by a check box.

Is this something that can be done straight out the box for zencart? I mean can i set the attributes in say the attributes area of the cart then just apply it to all the products I choose when adding the product?

Your case can easily be handled by making a "dummy" product with the attributes you want, then copying it as many times as desired and editing the name and adding individual image and description info.

You can also copy one or all changed/new attributes from one product to another product or to a whole category of products.
