Weight Differs from settings to cart

I set the weight of an item to 40lbs in Admin and the weight that shows up in the estimator is 68lbs, anyone know why or how to fix. Thanks for the help.

Im using the Fedex Shipping module

Problem solved, Numinix helped me get to the bottom of this, my ratios were off in Admin>>Shipping... But now i need to figure out how to calculate box dimensions into the quote, as it only calculates LBS and the quotes are to low.

Numinix also had a solution for dimenisons. Product feilds module
