Bug? with html editor in new 1.3.9. Important

Im new here wanted to introduce myself,"Hi" Im a girl 28 years, i have a problem, and dont really know where i i can post this problem?! maybe you or YOU can point it out for me?

I wanted to make a donation, happy to do it, but i have had the version 1.3.8 for years and was happy with all, ESPECIALLY THE HTML EDITOR that for real worked PERFECTLY UNTIL JUST A FEW DAYS AGO (why?) because i upgraded to the last version of the 1.3.9. unhappy with the result , all is nice but HTML stays HTML! and what customer wants to se <br>?</br> ????

doesnt matter what you do, there was another wonam that was so very clever and kind of invented a php code here : http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?p=941839#post941839 (im not a specialist at all on PHP but shouldnt the PHP code end with PHP too? however none of those absolutely helps at all! and left me resetting my page from my ISP for a cost of $100 only because i cant use WYSIWYG! now at least i have some pics and info on main_page, ALL MY EZ PAGES WYSIWYG works fine but not even one inside - from the "define pages editor" works, i have to write the text (and its really ugly)

if you want good donations/ want blame anyone but who is in charge here? Mr Byte? can i talk to you? this need to solves, not only thinking about security, i was up all night trying to fix this , in the end i cryed! shouldnt be like that! im really sad knowing that i will never be able to change anything in the define page editor ever more?! will there come a newer version soon with a correction of this BUG? coz thats what it is! , nobody know nothing, and nobody cares! i uploaded the latest 1.3.9. 5 times without results , Sorry if i sounds angry , im not! im tired! please help me please!!

That bug existed in v1.3.9g, and not in the current v1.3.9h. There has to be something that happened when you upgraded that did not go normally.
One issue is with HTMLArea, which is old and outdated; it is generally recommended that if you want a WYSIWYG editor you install CKeditor which is a modern version.

A PHP file can end with nothing as long as it is pure PHP, and that avoids an error that sometimes happens when people edit files with the wrong tools or make other mistakes.

It might be that you did not UPGRADE properly.

You are saying:

1. The WYSIWYG editor works OK with EZ-Pages
2. The WYSIWYG editor does NOT WORK with define_pages.

Sometimes, your CUSTOM files will also need to be "upgraded". This requires that you COMPARE the new software version of the file, and edit in any important changes.

As for "who is in charge here": The forum is managed by "administrators". The zencart software is OpenSource, meaining that people use it at their own risk. If you use it, and it breaks, only you are responsible. Unfortunately, nobody can be blamed, and nobody can be forced to fix anything for you. That is the principle of OpenSource.

If you cannot fix things yourself, the you can do one of two things:

i) Learn how to fix it.
ii) Get somebody else to fix it who can fix it. They may need to be paid for their services.
