What is the url for the categories list?

Can you tell me what the url is for a category list? I am creating an iframe on another of my websites, and I'd like to display the category list from my zen cart. I've used http://www.mysite.com/includes/modules/sideboxes/categories.php and I get an error 403 forbidden.

Technically, there isn't an URL for the category list, and you can't call the file that builds it directly. You might look at this:

http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=product_contrib_info&products_id=79

What you posted is just a path to a PHP file, not a Zen Cart page. Navigate to the page you want to show, and take the URL that shows in the address bar.

gjh42 - The problem is that there is no Zen Cart page that just shows a list of categories. The header, footer etc are all there. I'm trying to just display the category list in an iframe from another web site. http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=187120

OK, if that's all you want to show, there is no page like that. You most likely want stevesh's suggestion for the Sidebox Anywhere mod.

It would be possible to show the category listing page and use CSS to hide the header, footer, etc.
