help... i've killed my shop

hi, i was trying to add categories n products using apsona shop admin and it seemed to be going ok apart from descriptions not loading (#'s instead of text when i saved the files as csv). So i went into admin to manually add this text. now my shop is dead - blank page at https://www.motorcycleparts.ie
i can get into admin but shop front is not loading.
my question is.... is it possible to kill the shop by messing up the data base or did something else go wrong? i tried deleting out the new category but still no change. i've asked my hosting company to restore a backup of the shop but not the database to see if that works.

any idea what i could have done wrong?
thanks

Re: help... i've killed my shop

1st thing I would do I contact my host and ask them to rollback my webspace to the nearest backup they have of the time Apsona messed things up.

I am a huge fan of what features Apsona give, but I shudder in horror of how it works!

If Apsona caused this then I'll uninstall it. the only reason i originally wanted it was to use it to bulk upload attributes. i have easy populate (commercial) installed and just cant seem to get my head around how to use it for attributes
