enable free shipping

All I want to do is offer free shipping for all products no matter where in the world because some of my products are digital and the others don't way much at all unless someone were to buy bulk amount....

I don't know which module to use for free shipping,but finally guessed maybe the average weight per unit shipping module.

So downloaded it and then uploaded it to directory but don't know how to enable it?

In Admin > Modules > Order Total > Shipping set Allow Free Shipping to True

'Free Shipping For Orders Over' set to 0

'Provide Free Shipping For Orders Made' set to both

In Admin > Modules > Shipping install/enable the module FREE SHIPPING

wth is going on with this? i've enable free shipping in modules order total and the products have selected YES free bloody shipping always- what else can be done for goodness sake???:censored::censored::censored::censored::censored:

som1 pls tell me if warning comes up in preview mode of product regardless of free shipping enabled/ anyway bah humbug

when creating a new product with free shipping is it necessary to select product-free shipping in the drop down list before making selections in created product editing window?

That is just a warning when a Product is marked as Always Free Shipping YES so that you remember to turn on the FREE SHIPPING! freeshipper shipping module ... there is nothing wrong, it is just posted as a reminder ...

No it is not ... the choice of what Product Type is handy if you wanted to configure the product _info page differently or other settings for Products marked as Always Free Shipping ...

But, Always Free Shipping can be used on the other Product Types ...

You could make a Zone Definition with the DEFINE for the US and then install the Free Options freeoptions and set the Total >= 0.00 and the Zone Definition to your new one for the US ...

I did what you said. I made a new Zone Defintion, with a zone name of USA. then click on the new zone to add a sub zone.
select Country and pick United States and select All zones.

go to modules/shippping select free shipping and set the zone to the new zone you created. do the same for free shipping options.

I think i did it right.
