Define Main Page Missing

The Home page of my store where define_main pages is supposed to be at is blank, i tried going in through admin- tools-definepages editor, but no matter wat i type in there, it dont show up on my webpage, i think its the way the template is made, it somehow replaces the define pages with a list of products, id like to disable that aspect of the template. Anyone know how?

It worked fine till i installed the template, im running the newest version of zencart.

Try going in through FTP and writing directly in the file, which should be located here:

includes/languages/english/html_includes/define_main_page.php

You can verify the location of the correct file by going to Admin > Tools > Define Pages Editor and then selecting the main page from the drop down. Right above the box for inputing text you will see a line that tells you the location of the file in your web hosting directory.

If you make a change directly in the file and you still can't see it on the home page, there may be a problem with the template that you have chosen or some other glitch.

Turn Off Products on Home Page
Products showing on your home page are probably either "new", "specials" or some other similar category that zen cart produces.

You can turn on/off the products shown on the home page by going to Admin > Configure > Index Listing and enabling or disabling as desired, as shown in this tutorial:

If these suggestions don't help, you may need to post more information (like which version of zen cart, which template you are using, etc.). I notice that you appear to have taken down the home page entirely?
