display manufacturer image in product listing?

What isn't working? I see the manufacturers name and image in the products_listing ...

It's the same item, and as appears on the bottom of the screen "Manufactured by: Blue Sky Alpacas" . I was under the impression that the Blue Sky Alpacas logo would appear after that "Manufactured by... " text. This way, even when people are searching by different fibers, they will still see the brand logos on individual pages.

The code you are working with shows the manufacturer's image here:

Where are you wanting the image on the listing, where you are coding it to appear? Or on the product_info page ... :unsure:

Ok, I see - I wanted the manufacturers image to appear on the product info page for every product in a certain product type, right below where the Manufacturer's name appears.

So, I should be looking at this thread... ?

I got it!! Edited the tpl_product_info_display.php & now it's working. Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction!

The manufacturers_image can be obtained on the products_all using for the images:

zen_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . zen_get_products_manufacturers_image($products_all->fields['products_id']), $products_all->fields['manufacturers_name'])

Depends on where you want the image to be ...

That is the code to get the image ... you find in your code where you want it to be ...

See if this helps:

$display_products_manufacturers_image = ($products_all->fields['manufacturers_name'] != '' ? zen_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . zen_get_products_manufacturers_image($products_all->fields['products_id']), $products_all->fields['manufacturers_name']) : '');

You will see the manufacturer listing pages with the manufacturer name but no image is displaying for the manufacturer image (logo)

this thread is a couple years old but I would love to see some EXAMPLES of how this works, and is th is still viable in zencart 1.5?

Which table did you put the manufacturers_description that you cannot get to work?

Did you address the function file:
functions_manufacturers_about.php

and add the field in the select for the function zen_get_manufacturers_about so that the info is available to you?

manufacturer_description have its own table in DB and is appearing on manufacturer_about page but I want to know how to display it on manufacturer_info page. Manufacturer_info is zencart default (built in) page.
