My footer has disappeared... I need help

Hello everyone I was today adding my analytic code from google to my site and later I noticed that my footer has diappeared. I retraced my steps but still no footer.

Can someone point me in the right direction and how to get it back. I will await your reply

When you added the analytics code you nuked or changed other code. You're missing stuff at the bottom. Just re-upload your original tpl_footer.php and start over.

Did you make sure to upload the original to your overrides directory - includes/templates/your_template/common?

Yes I made sure and upload to the correct folder. I had backed up my site about a week ago so I was able to upload the file that was not affected. Is there anything else that I can do.

another thing I dont have a overwrite folder. I just have been backig up whenever I make changes. Is that a bad thing?

Ok I was lucky to have some files that I always work on saved in a seperate folder and I found the original footer and it is working now. Thanks for your help

Glad you got it fixed. FWIW, I have a couple suggestions. You should change the link or background color in your categories menu. Very difficult to see. I would also drop Volusion live chat and switch to Livezilla. It's robust, feature rich, free, and it doesn't advertise a direct competitor to Zen Cart.
