Can ZC create auto product rotation?

Hi There,

I have never used Zen Cart but I have a client interested in an online store where the products are on sale for a limited period of time, they have a countdown timer showing time left on sale.

Once the time expires they are to be auto replaced with a new item on sale & so the sequence repeats.

I was wondeirng if this is possible with Zen Cart add ons maybe?

The client has a limited budget so we are trying to avoid one of the more expensive hosted cart companies.

While there's no built-in countdown-timer-display feature, there is the ability to automatically expire sales/specials/features at midnight on specified dates, and to start them at midnight on specified dates.

You might be able to adapt Countdown Sidebox with Image from Free Addons for your purposes.
