Messy Category Image Display

Hello,

I am using Zen Cart 1.3.9h, and I am struggling with a rather messy category display. Once you click into one of the main categories on my store, you are presented with a page of categories with images. However, they are not lining up very well, and it doesn't look very neat. Example: http://jigstop.com/tackle/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=8

Would anyone be able to help me clean that up? I'm using Category Dressing to allow for image-based category links on the left-most display, if that affects anything.

Thanks,
Alin

Re: Messy Category Image Display

you need to make sure that all images are same size before you upload them.

for example your acme-tackle image is 150 X 150
and ahi-logo.jpg is 144 X 58

Yes, you have added whitespace padding to some of your images and not to others, so it is no surprise they don't line up. Just pad them all out to the same dimensions.

I've been attempting to tweak the CSS, but there must be something eluding me. Would you be able to point me to where I should be entering the padding? I'd like to center each image in a padded square with a height and width of 175 px.

Re: Messy Category Image Display

The white space is with the images and not the css.

Take the images into your image editing software and crop them and then resize them all the same size and they will line up.

If you don't have a good image editor download a free one here.
