phpbb 3 and v1.3.9h does it work?

i just finished installing my forums and am trying to make them work with my zen cart account system but it wouldnt..

iv changed the config.php in includes folder to define it as /forums/

it shows Forum Nick Name on new user registration however on forum it wouldnt let me login using the same info or even show that there is a new user.

i have fixed the issue after a lot of reading.

using PHPBB latest version and latest version of zen cart aswell.

Yea I want to install phpBB Link after the fact. i.e. I did not select it initially at ZenCart installation. v 1.3.9. Would those instructions be ok for that ?
