Payment options - defaulting to in-store pickup?

Need the help of some of you more savvy zensters.

I'm using 1.3.7. When customers pay using google checkout, it takes them to the checkout page and shows two shipping options in a drop-down menu. The options are "Store Pickup" (which is free), and "Shipping USPS Table Rate."

The problem is that the drop-down menu is defaulting to "Store Pickup" which means that people who aren't so savvy, and some other people who want to try to get free shipping, aren't changing the option to regular shipping.

Is it possible to change the order of these options? Doesn't seem to be an option in google checkout. I tried changing the order in googlecheckout.php so that the table rate comes first in the file, but that didn't change anything.

It seems like Google Checkout is receiving the terms "Store Pickup" and "Table" (rate) and alphabetically adding them to the drop-down menu, making Store Pickup show first?

Is it possible to change the name of either the "Table" rate to something earlier in the alphabet (like "Expedited"). Or change the store pickup module to something like "U-pickup in Store" so it will maybe appear after "Table" in the menu? I tried changing the name the simple way, in the shipping_methods.php file, changing the part where it says what to name things ('table' => 'usps shipping'), but that doesn't do anything.

Seems like the table rate and in-store pickup modules are built in, how much work would it be to change the name of one of those options in the code? Maybe change "Table" to "Expedited" or something. I would imagine the table rate stuff is probably embedded in like 30 different various php files and would mess everything up if I tried to change it?

i actually just turned off the option entirely, so you won't see it on the site (in case you look!)

The shipping class is specifically setup to NOT set the Store Pickup as the default shipping module:

you would need to change that code if you want the Store Pickup to be a default shipping method ...

But that's the problem - I don't want Store Pickup to be the default, but it is showing up in Google Checkout as the default shipping method!

They actually have the opposite problem. It's default now - in Google Checkout, don't know about the store itself - and they want to change that.
