"un"linking products

Using version v1.3.9h

I accidently linked some products to the category page. Can I "un" link them or do I have to delete and do over.

How do you mean "linked"? You have to creatre a product in one category. If you mean that you then did a copy-link to another category, you can go to the original category where you wish the product to remain, click the (c) button at the right of the product in the listing, scroll to the bottom of the "copy" page and click

The Products to Categories Linker is designed to quickly link the current Product to one or to many Categories.
You may also Link all of the Products in a Category to another Category or Remove Linked Products from a Category that are in another Category.

Uncheck the product from the category where you don't want it.
