H1 Heading

I'm told adding an H1 heading to the site is very important for search engines... How can this be done with my zen cart site?

Zen cart already defines Headings for important part of your site like your Product Name(h1) , price (h2),etc .

Well I ask because I did a quick SEO report done on the site and one of the errors it came back with is that there is no H1 Heading and that there should only be one. Does that make any sense?

Most tools just look at the index page. Depending on what editing and changes you've made, there may or may not be any H1's left on the index page. Google indexes the entire site, and Zen has plenty of heading tags throughout.
