How Do I Setup UPS Shipping?

Hello,

I'm using Zen Cart version 1.3.9h and I'm not able to get UPS shipping to work.

From the admin panel, I went to Modules>Shipping. In there, I selected the UPS module and clicked install. I answered all of the questions about pickup method and packaging, as well as shipping zone.

But it never asked me about my UPS account.

UPS shipping is the only shipping module I have installed and when I go to the checkout from my store, it says "Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time."

Is there some other place I have to configure the shipping? In a .php file somewhere? Or do I need to just link my website with my UPS account on the UPS site?

I was only able to find one explanation of how to setup UPS shipping, but it didn't explain how my module gets linked to my UPS account.

Did you set a Zone on the UPS shipping module? :unsure:

I did initially. But I've since then turned it off and now the shipping is showing up.

I was thinking that the Shipping Zone is where the package ships from. But I guess it determines the area within which a package can be shipped.

Now, the shipping calculator shows up and seems to be working just fine.

Do I not even need to create a UPS account to use their calculator?

Not unless you need to run the UPS XML to get special rates ...
