attribute alert popup for two distinct values

Hi Zenners, I think that I have seen this being accomplished in one context or another…
I would like to create a Javascript that will popup a simple alert if attribute value "A" from Attrib-1 is selected with attribute value "Z" from Attrib-2
Both of these values cannot be offered together as part of the product offering…
This is a good work around for the dependent attributes constraint of the system.

Can anyone please advise?
