Out of Stock - Add to Cart

Right now, when I have a product that is out of stock, the customer has to add it to the cart to see that it is out of stock. Is there a way to have "out of stock" displayed on the product listing page, and not have them click "add to cart" to see that it is out of stock?

you can set this under Admin->Configuration->Stock.

Allow checkout : false
Show sold out image in place of add to cart: 1

Thanks. I must have missed the "Show sold out image in place of add to cart: 1" first few times I tried. Working now.
