Add MPN to product info

ZC 1.3.9

I searched and found only 1 inconclusive result so Im asking. I need to add MPN Manufacturers Product Number to product info. What are my choices for 1.3.9.h if any outside of coding this myself?

Here is the other thread on this that was inconclusive: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=160728 Plugin modifies core files and is not compat with 1.3.9h so this solution will not work for us. Looking at other options so if you have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

On the product setup page Products Model = MPN.

PS: And the Numinix Product Fields mod is compatible with 1.39h.

Thanks for the answer but we use a feed and since our MPNs are not unique we have to use our SKUs and its that that is populating the Model field unfortunately. So I basically need to add a field to display MPN. Ill look at Numinx again. I just really dont like to mod core files if I dont have to but I may have to!
