Quantity Discount Box - Attributed

Version: 1.3.9h

I have been reading through the forums for hours and haven't found an answer.

I have products that are sold by size, hence the use of attributes.

  • I have set product discounts (based on percentage discount) not attribute discounts.
  • I have set the base price as zero, and the price by attributes option in the product page.
  • I have the attribute price reflecting the total price (as base price is zero)

My problem is that when I select an attribute, the quantity discount box doesn't update to reflect the discounted price, it still shows the cheapest attribute prices in the table.

The checkout reflects the prices, but I believe it is misleading for my customers.

Is anyone able to assist with my problem? :frusty:

Re: Quantity Discount Box - Attributed

Hi

Thanks for the link. I installed the add-on to see what it would do and came up with errors. I didn't want to create more problems - so i've left it. I've done some reading and it doesn't seem to be exactly what I am after (although it is very close!!)

Here is a link to a product that I have set up with the attributes & bulk discounting.

http://www.liccy-rose.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_6_13&products_id=203

As I said before, it calculates fine in the shopping cart, but it just looks confusing for shoppers.

(i.e. select 8mm and see that the discount box still reflects the prices for the 6mm).

I was thinking that perhaps I can edit something to just show a percentage table. As in (10-20 pairs - 10% off) rather than displaying the actual price.

Thoughts anyone?
