Again Server issue and now links bounce back to home page

Hi all.

My server went down last night again (Plesk backup filling hard drive and thats the problem - we are upgrading in the next few weeks to another system).

Plesk is set to automatically delete backups older than 7 days, but it doesn't hence the problem.

After manually deleting the backup my site springs back to life but all of the links do not work (redirect to the home page). I then restore a back up which solves 80% of the problem but the below links (for example a select few) still redirect to the home page:

Can anyone offer any assistance on this please - I am in a real pickle over this.

I'd guess something about your URL-redirecting add on. Any way you can turn that off temporarily to see if things work properly ?

This is correct - I use a URL direct. I am hiring people left right and centre on oDesk to fix, but they don't seem to have a clue!

It seems redirect is missing but the old link does not work either, see below:

The old link isn't a standard Zencart URL, either. They look like this:

http: //www.stevesh.org/demo/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3

I am not really sure. Can anyone recommend a good oDesk candidate to fix the problem. This is costing me a lot of time and money - and I am in ultra stress model.

I've never used a URL-rewriting mod, so I don't know how they work. Is there no option in admin to just turn it off and let the standard Zencart process take over ?

I've only had one (unsatisfactory) experience with oDesk, so I can't recommend anyone.

Thanks for your response. Still trying as I keep getting different answers to what may be the cause of the problem and how to resolve it. I would assume nobody knows?
