1017 Can't find file: 'sessions' (errno: 2) error after server crash

Hi,

Our shop https://www.optical8.com was running well after installation since last year. Yesterday we found that the connection of the pages to database was lost, we then contact the hosting provider, they checked and told us the database harddisk crashed, then they migrated the shop to a new server, we tried and a new error appearred as below,

1017 Can't find file: 'sessions' (errno: 2)
in:
[select value from sessions where sesskey = '80d18e21a6974176448287920885a64d' and expiry > '1325140832']

It looks like the table sessions got some problem, we tried to repair the table in Phpadmin but failed, could anyone help to solve this problem? Thanks in advance!

Delete the "sessions" table (ONLY that table) from your database, and then restore that table from your backup.
