Can't get to the Database Upgrade Screen...

I have followed the steps to upgrade from 1.3.9 to 1.5.x, and uploaded the new files to the server, including the zc_install folder. When I point my brower to my site/zc_install/index.php, I get the Welcome screen. I get to the second step - agreeing to the license, click on Agree and Continue, and get the error that the website cannot display the page.

I am not a programmer, although I manage to get around the files, editing, copying, and moving okay. What am I missing?

Thanks for any help / direction...

The most common cause of such errors is incomplete FTP uploads.
So, re-check that ALL the files were uploaded completely correctly and without any errors.

IMPORTANT: I really hope you're FULLY following the instructions and NOT directly upgrading your "live" store without FIRST doing a THOROUGH test on a COPY of your site someplace else.

My store isn't really live yet, and there have been no mods done to it. I do have it fully backed up in case this upgrade doesn't work. I am running the FTP again...
