Different product info pages for products

Different product info pages for products

Some of the products on my store would benefit from a different layout than others on the product info page. Is it possible to set products to use different views without having to create new product types ?

How "different" is the layout you're talking about?
Merely rearranging things on the page and altering colors/styling? (a lot can be done with CSS)
Or completely different content? (probably requires a different product type, unless you want to add lots of complicated PHP code to your template)
