Cannot remove this customized footer!

a customer has asked me to make a few changes to their website. The would like to edit their footer. I cannot find where to modify the file. I am familiar with zencart and have tried all the common places. does anyone have any idea?

Your footer is definitely customized:) If it is not built with /includes/templates/custom/common/tpl_footer.php, look in /includes/templates/custom/common/tpl_main_page.php to find what footer file is called. It could conceivably be built in tpl_main_page.php if the previous developer was being stupid, or even in /template_default/common/tpl_footer.php (unlikely).

You could use the Developers Tool Kit to search for storefooter, which is the id name of that area.
