set shipping for canada weight and dimentions?

Hi
Im using the 1.3.9. I need to know how to set up the shipping
for canada? is there a way to add the canada post shipping module so they can check each item? I currently have it set by weigh but canada does weight and measurements? not sure how or where to add this when adding products or how to change in at all?

question, after you download the canada post module where do you download it to ? do i ftp if tothe classic zen, or the template your currently using ? just want to place it in the right are

when i download the canada post module and open my ftp program there is 3 folders like these and if you click in them there is more folders. These are the folders im not sure where to upload them to to install my canada post shipping module thanks

Just like every other addon ...

the /admin/ folders and files go into YOUR /admin/ folders
the /images/ files go into YOUR /images/ folder
the /includes/ files and folders go into YOUR /includes/ folders

That's probably explained in the installation instructions ... ie: the install cp.txt file.

when i click on the admin and then upload nothing happens do i go in the admin and there is more files do i keep clicking on them until i can go no further them ftp the last file ? or ftp every file i click on

Whatever method works for your FTP program and your computer. They're all different.

if i go into public html on ftp right side then press on zc_admin and go to my file on left and open canada post once then there is an admin and if i ftp it it will not go into the zc-admin but if i press the admin inside is includes then modules, language, extra-configures, and then you can go into all them until you cannot go and more so im unsure what im doing?

should i keep pressing them until i get php scrips them ftp them over inot the admin? and do i put the letter type files to upload also? like the mysql_canpos

The install_CP.txt file is the installation instructions for the module. Follow what it says.

You'll also note that it does NOT tell you to upload the lettermail_readme.txt file, nor the mysql_canpost_dimensional_13x.sql file, nor the install_cp.txt file. So, you won't upload those.

Plus, I'm not sure why you keep typing incomplete filenames. The file isn't named "mysql_canpos". It's "mysql_canpost_dimension_13x.sql". If you've unzipped the files and their filenames are incomplete, then you won't be able to use the addon properly. Fix that problem first, by making sure your unzip program is capable of unzipping files with long filenames (all reliable modern unzip tools can do this just fine).

Hi,thanks for your help. my ftp was not openinging it correctly. I redid it and had full files. Still kindof unsure how i did it i need lessons on ftping files. My pricing does show. thanks alot :D however i still do need help with the boxes being they sizes are not showing and how do i turn my zen cart to metric also instead of pounds? thanks belinda

can someone explain how the files work for templates , modules etc.
i want to make cure I'm putting them in the right sections.
it is suggested to follow the same names paths but i have couple images, etc then where do i put them
