Linking in Facebook question

When I paste a link for my website in a FB comment, it just shows up in the box as the link. It does not just say Pawsome Dogz, nor does it grab a picture from my website. It's just the long string of link.

For example, if I copy the link to this page here, and put it into a comment on FB, it puts in a text that says Zen-Cart support to the right, and the Zen Cart logo to the left.

Can someone tell me where to go and what to do to change this, so that it says Pawsome Dogz, maybe with my tag line, and a photo to the left?

If you have a page title setup for your web site it should automatically insert that title. It should also scan for images to use as thumbnails so you can scroll through and pick one. No idea why it isn't behaving normally. Do you have a link to your site?

It has been a long time since I originally set up the site, but I should have put a title in there, right?

I just tested it on my Facebook page, and it works as it should. You have a Facebook issue, not a Zen Cart issue.

Well, poop. Okay, I'll go post on the plug-in page I use and see if they can tell me what is going on.

Okay, I just figured out what it is. If I post just the link to my website, as I posted above, it does just fine. It gives the title and shows the thumbnail images.

But, if I post a link to a particular product page, then it shows just the text link and no thumbnail.

Is there something in the coding I need to change for all of the other pages on my site to show up correctly?

I just tested that product page on my Facebook and it works fine. See facebook.com/rescoccc, I'll leave it up for a few minutes.

I'm having a similar problem. I'm setting up a new site. I've created a template, updated the metatags and logo. When I post to Facebook, it still gives the ZenCart logo, title, and metatags. I cleared my cache thinking that might be the issue, but I suppose maybe Facebook needs to clear theres?
