USPS January 22, 2012

United States Postal Service will be changing the USPS shipping options for the January 22, 2012 updates.

There is a new USPS January 22, 2012 in the Free Shipping Add Ons at:
http://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1292

If you have a new Zen Cart v1.5, there are no files to overwrite or savings to save prior to installing the USPS files to:
/includes/modules/shipping
/includes/languages/english/shipping

If you have an older version of Zen Cart, them be sure to follow the instructions in the readme.txt for the complete installation instructions. (You must SAVE your existing settings, REMOVE the old module, UPLOAD the new module, then INSTALL the new module.)

To test that you have the correct file on the server, go to the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... and in the bottom input box enter:
usps.php

and select Catalog then click SEARCH ...

You should see on the file:
/includes/modules/shipping/usps.php

the version id for:
** * @version $Id: usps.php 18348F 2012-01-22 01:22:00Z ajeh $**
