upgradeing multiple sites at once

Can their be an easy way of upgrading more than one zen cart site in one go.

For many the current situation of upgrade is as follows:

(assume all the sites are hosted in the same package using domain add-on)

site1.com (with zen 1.3 core and non-core files)
site2.com (with zen 1.3 core and non-core files)
site3.com (with zen 1.3 core and non-core files)
...

After upgrading from 1.3 to 1.5 it then becomes:

site1.com (with zen 1.5 core and non-core files)
site2.com (with zen 1.5 core and non-core files)
site3.com (with zen 1.5 core and non-core files)

I was wondering if all core files can be hosted on one site, and the non-core files hosted by each individual site:

parent_site.com (with zen 1.3 core files)

site1.com (with zen non-core files)
site2.com (with zen non-core files)
site3.com (with zen non-core files)

after an upgrade it will now become:

parent_site.com (with zen 1.5 core files)

site1.com (with zen non-core files)
site2.com (with zen non-core files)
site3.com (with zen non-core files)

you see here it is easier to upgrade all the sites by upgrading the one main core folder (I am assuming that the Config files will be added to the non-core files)

Just wounding if this is possible and any feedback would be much appreciated.

Zen Cart is not mall software. Its current design is not structured for the purpose of running several sites from one code base at the present time.

Your best strategy is to update each site separately. Naturally, your 2nd and 3rd site upgrades will go MUCH faster than your first, because you will be very familiar with the process.
