Add unique link on product info page for different products

Zen Cart v1.3.9h upgrading to the current version is not available for me because my server does not have the latest version of php. I have looked over the forums for hours and all I can find is to use EZ-Pages but that won't work (unless I am an idiot and just don't get it).

I am selling jewelry and I need to have photos of the beads I use. Each piece is different and so I need to be able to put a link in the product info page to a separate pop up page so they can see the choices.

I tried using the link option on each items page but it does not show up. Did I miss something? Could I have turned the option off? I have looked and after so many hours it all started to look the same.

Can anyone help? I would really like the link on each page for each item. Thanks!
