Remove category names from facebook meta tags

Hello,

When I post a link to my ZC store on Facebook, it automatically displays my Meta Description tag as the "preview text" for the Facebook post. It looks very sloppy because the meta tag has all of my category names listed therein.

Can anyone tell me how to...

  1. Remove the category names from the meta tags, or...

  2. Add a piece of code specifically for Facebook, which Facebook will automatically use as the preview text whenever I or anyone else post a link to my website on facebook.

?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, no.

Forgot to include this:

http://davidwalsh.name/facebook-meta-tags

I added the og:description tag as shown in the demo at that link, into the html_header.php file in includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/common, but it did not seem to work when I simply copied/pasted my https://www.url.com url. It only worked when I copied/pasted my url with /index.php at the end.
