Gap Between header and navigation bar (tried fix)

Hey guys, like you hear from everyone posting about this problem on here I am a beginner to web design and also zencart but am trying to learn enough to get me through. Anyway, I have connived through this forum searching how to get rid of the the d*** gap between my header logo and Nav bar. I have tried suppressing the div class="clearBoth"></div> and <br lines and have achieved nothing, although this seems to work for everyone else with the same problem? the url is

After i solve this i am looking to maybe replace the nav main text links (Home etc) to buttons which change on rollover, however this seems to be a hard task, is their any easy ways of doing this? I may just decide to leave it as is.

Try adding display: none; to the #tagline rule in the stylesheet, or remove the tagline div from tpl_header.php.

Thanks for the though kensco but i had already tried this method and it did not work for me.

However this was exactly what i needed! I really appreciate your help stevesh, the gap is gone now!

The only other thing I wanted help with for now was an easy method of replacing Home, Log in etc with my own buttons which match the the header (join onto the bottom of the concrete picture). I tried changing the header.php to include the image source and this worked but how can you add rollover images for the buttons?
