How to change the way zen looks ?

Hi everyone, I'm very new here and to the Zencart, I am wondering how to change the way it looks and/or make it more like my web page instead of the standard green look that looks like its on a separate web page, is it themes that changes the way it looks ? Like in the live showcase shops on the zen webpage, and is it ok to add all my products now then change the way it looks later ?

Start with the Tutorials/FAQ section on customizing. Make sure to set up your custom template overrides first.

You can add products now or later; it will make no difference to anything.
