Specials showing higher price

Hi All.

I am trying to put a special price on a couple of products. I go into 'Catalog > Specials' click my product (£369.00) and put in a special price of £339.00. I leave dates blank as I just want it to be on until I'm ready to revert back, but the price show in my product listings is £406.80 (save: -10% off).

Is there a configuration setting that I need to do? Or am I not doing something right?

You should add the special price without VAT. In your case, you should add the special price as 282.5 so the 20% VAT will be calculated and displayed in the frontend as 339.
