Re: Connection failed: uploads.google.com

I assume you entered your Google Merchant login ID and password in the Google merchant center feeder configuration? What happens if you download the file to your PC and then manually upload it through your Google Merchant Center account?

The best way to learn is to try stuff. But, back it up first.

When Use IE FTP or Filezilla I am able to login and transfert the file but it will disapear from there within a scond after it was transfered. and the folder stays empty

You can try with this login

Re: Connection failed: uploads.google.com

Do you have the FTP information entered in the merchant center configuration in your Zen Cart admin? What happens if you try to add the file manually? NOT by FTP'ing in, but by logging in to your Google Merchant Center account and clicking "data feeds", and "manual upload".

Also, did you actually create a data feed in your Google merchant center account? You must do that first before attempting to upload the feed.

Re: Connection failed: uploads.google.com

I am able to upload all 319 items in to goggle merchant center from merchant dashboard via Manual Upload feed but not able to send if from Zan Cart directly. I don’t get Login Error. I am not sure why I get connection failed after Upload started. Please Help.

Re: Connection failed: uploads.google.com

You're getting connection failed because you either have something configured incorrectly, or your host is blocking the necessary port.

Re: Connection failed: uploads.google.com

I have checked with my Host Go Daddy and they say its all good.
Please let me know what settings I should configure. I see lots of people have or had this problem but no solution. So I hope we can find one! I Also tried from other domain fresh website and same result.

There are no more ideas. You gave the magic words yourself. Go Daddy.

Re: Connection failed: uploads.google.com

Your problem is GoDaddy...

If you go to a proper host you will not have these problems. We manage a LOT of sites that use Merchant center (about 50) and we have a CRON that automatically updates and sends the feed.

A proper host will know what ports to open, and allow the feed to be sent.

People at GoDaddy probably don't know what a "port" is, or if they do, they probably think you are talking about ships.
