upload new template on hostmonster

Where would I upload a new zen cart template in Hostmonster?

I tried to upload the whole folder in the directory includes/templates where also the default classic folder is but it does not show up in the admin then.

My new template has a source and template folder as well as a index.html file.

May I ask someone for help?

A Hostmonster rep advised me to asked this forum since he does not know any other fix than uploading it into includes/templates.

What is the folder structure of the template package? You should upload it so that the /template_name/ folder (whatever it is) goes directly under/inside the /includes/templates/ folder.

The "source" might be PSD files or other items that you can use to modify template graphics; we can't know without more information about the template maker, and maybe not then (we don't all know how different commercial vendors set up their packages). It is very doubtful that you would want to upload that to your server. You definitely don't want the index.html.

I always like to open all folders and sub-folders and sub-sub- etc. folders in anything I install. It may not be necessary but you learn a lot about things that way, and more importantly you learn where everything went so you can find it if you need to fix or change bits of it. I never just drag 'n' drop a top-level folder.

It is a template from Templatemonster.

It's zencart32900

So I have a folder called: zecart_32900

• under this one there is a screenshot folder
• a source folder which has an images folder and 4 .sql files
• a template folder which includes a includes folder that has a language, modules and template folder
• and a index.html files that when opens says:
  This is a technical file included in your template package for security reasons.

Please refer to technical documentation for the correct path to your template index file.

Now, I uploaded the images folder and the 4 .sql files in the public_html/ images folder.

And I uploaded the language, modules and template folders under the public_html/ includes folder.

I can change the template now i he admin section but when I open my website it says:
This is a technical file included in your template package for security reasons.

Please refer to technical documentation for the correct path to your template index file.

Any thoughts how to fix that?

We don't have any way of knowing what Template Monster has done with this template. Weren't there any instructions included ?

Generally, if a mod or template includes SQL files, they're meant to be uploaded to the database by Copying and Pasting them (one at a time) into the big box in Admin - Tools - Install SQL Patches and clicking Send.

I have made a few changes to the template but was wondering what I need to do to change the FAQ tab and it's content.

What is the file in need to edit with Dreamweaver?
